About Jamie Harley
Jamie Harley is a French artist and director of British origin residing in Paris.
His first creation is a short film, The Biology of Machines (2001), in collaboration with Malcolm McLaren, the former manager of the Sex Pistols.
In parallel to his job as a music supervisor, he has directed nearly 200 music videos, moving indifferently from one technique to another: live action, archival images, traditional animation, CGI, and now generative artificial intelligence.
During the 2010s, he visualized the tracks of many musicians from the American independent scene, such as Twin Shadow, How To Dress Well, Clams Casino, Memoryhouse, etc.
He then began a collaboration with the Parisian label Pan European Recording and directed videos for many artists from the label (Koudlam, Flavien Berger, Maud Geffray, Hanaa Ouassim, etc.).
